The CEDC (Covington Economic Development Corporation) is sponsoring a scarecrow contest on The Square.  A judging committee will choose one overall winner and the other winner will be chosen by YOU!  You can vote as many times as you like.  Votes are $1 each and can be made in our shop.  The proceeds from voting go to the CEDC.  What does the CEDC do?  This is a group of volunteers who are dedicated to the preservation and beautification of The Square.  They were responsible for spear heading the revitalization efforts and obtaining the grant money for the improvements made to our Square nearly 10 years ago.  Ongoing maintenenace and new projects are funded by the CEDC.  Court Square Park, The Farmer's Market and small details like eye-pleasing ash trays mounted to the light posts are just a few of the things we can thank the CEDC for.

Heritage Day 2013

Save the Date! HERITAGE DAY ON THE SQUARE is Saturday, September 28th from 9am to 4pm. The festivities will kick off with the annual Children's Parade around the square. This year's costume and wagon theme is...Dr. Seuss and Friends! Put on your thinking caps and start decorating!
